Oh, you’re just going to come to my place when SHTF, huh?

You might want to read this first.

Eventually, you will hear this “joking” remark by those you decide to talk to about preparing for emergency situations. From coast to coast, the remark is almost always verbatim, “If things go bad, I’ll just come to your place!”.

My response in the past has been, “When you come, I won’t be there.”, meaning that me and mine would be long gone. Since bugging out might not be a viable option in all scenarios, the following article applies.
