Believe it or not…

September is National Emergency Preparedness Month. Seriously!

So, take the time this month to make sure you have what you need for an emergency situation.

Nothing prepped, you say? Start with a 72-hour kit (3-day) for your family. Here are a few things to get you started (note I said, started, this is to get the ball rolling) on your 72-hr kit:

3 days worth of food for each family member: minimum 1750 calories per day per person, plus vitamin supplements.
1 Gallon of water per day per person.
Individual First Aid Kits (BEYOND just Band-Aids).
Individual Water Filtration Systems

Get over to Defensive Training Group and check out the 10 Week plan to get the ball rolling even more!
